NEWS ABOUT EMILYN

Emilyn is one of 30 students (out of hundreds of applicants) admitted to Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business Summer Program, an Ivy League school.  She is being sponsored by Goldman Sachs and will spend three weeks at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire with field trips to Boston and New York to visit her corporate sponsor, Goldman Sachs, the New York Stock Exchange, and other corporate sponsors in the area. As an alumni of this program, she will qualify for summer internships when in college, and prospective employment with all the corporate sponsors of the Lead National Summer Institute program.  In addition, she will meet with an Admissions Counselor at Dartmouth for her admission application during her Senior year of high school.

Emilyn has been selected by the American Legion Auxiliary (http://girlsnation-auxiliary.com/girlsstate.asp) to represent Palmetto Bay and participate in "Girls State" in her state capital of Tallahassee.  She is one of 300 girls attending this hands-on citizenship training Summer Workshop held at Florida State University this summer.
