Authentic, fun-loving, and dedicated-meet Chelsea Seignious, Miss Teen U.S. Continental 2007. As a senior in high school, Chelsea is an accomplished student who has earned a 4.0 GPA and a spot on the Principal’s Honor Roll. She is a member of the varsity swim team, Student Government Association, National Honor Society, and Fellowship of Christian Students. Outside of school, Chelsea enjoys dancing, waterskiing, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. In the future, Chelsea plans to attend Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to pursue a degree in communications. Throughout her year as Miss Teen U.S. Continental, Chelsea will promote her platform, literacy for children. “I think reading is such an essential skill necessary to succeeding in life. I hope to get kids excited about reading so that they will learn to enjoy it.” She volunteers at the local library and elementary schools to promote her cause. As a volunteer mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Chelsea is also helping to establish a club at her high school this year to get peers active in their community. Chelsea believes it is important to stay grounded and work hard to achieve your goals. Quoting Eleanor Roosevelt, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
